9 weeks 5 days

Thanks for all the comments, congratulations and well wishes on my last post about beating infertility! We are still so excited and can't wait to tell P he's going to be a big brother, I think we are going to wait until 12 weeks or so so we're almost there!

I'll be 10 weeks on Friday and everything is going well besides a minor scare in the 8th week but a quick ultrasound showed everything to be fine! I was also able to find our little one's heartbeat at 8 weeks with our doppler, a week and a half earlier than P, what a surprise that was! But so comforting. Had another listen in this morning and he/she is much easier to find now <3

Sorry to all those sitting at their computers hitting refresh waiting for me to update ;) I spent the last couple weeks on the couch or in bed feeling miserable. I had a pretty nasty head cold at 8 weeks (the sneezing and coughing was probably what caused the bleed I had) and a fever along with my morning sickness, it was pretty pitiful. Fingers crossed the fever didn't hurt anything developing in there, I was able to keep it under control with Tylenol but you know how paranoid a mama can be about these things...

But, lucky for me the day I hit 9 weeks I suddenly started to feel a bunch better.; not nearly as nauseous and I finally broke down and started taking an acid reducer for the horrid heartburn I have had and it has been a godsend! I am feeling pretty normal besides the exhaustion that hits every afternoon when P watches his cartoons... I nap next to him :S you do what ya gotta do, right?
