I made these three different scarves for my nieces for Christmas and they were a hit. They were (mostly) easy too! I love that jersey doesn't fray so you don't have to worry about hemming, turned and top-stitching or serging the edges.
A ruffled navy scarf inspired by tutorials found at MaryJanes and Galoshes and Make It and Love It
A ruffled scarf in OU colors! Thanks to Sew Much Ado!
And another I made for a friend, slightly thinner width wise, less ruffles. This is a cotton/rayon mix fabric; thinner and has more stretch than the cotton jersey
And finally a little hot pink number with fabric flowers. The fabric flowers were more difficult and frustrating than all the scarves put together!
And to answer my own question: yes! I do need a scarf! I should really make one for myself sometime soon!
