Homemade Hot dog Buns

6 ingredients. No preservatives or excessive use of sweeteners. Paired with my Central Market grass-fed, organic beef hot dog... it's my kind of hot dog!


Ingredients
1 cup warm water -- 110F
2 tablespoons white sugar, though I only use 1T
1 (.25oz) package yeast
1/4C vegetable oil -- I use olive oil
3C bread flour -- I use all purpose unbleached
1 teaspoon salt

Directions
1. Place the water, sugar and yeast in bread machine. Let dissolve and foam for 10 minutes
2. Add rest of the ingredients and set to the dough cycle
3. When done remove dough from bread machine and turn out onto a floured flat surface. Divide into 8 equal parts and shape into a hot dog bun shape
4. Bake for 9-15 minutes at 375 or until a toothpick comes out clean
5. Eat!

We ate five of them last night and used the last three today for lunch with some turkey, avocado, cheese and tomato. Yum!
